Jim Lambert Auctioneers Cattle Division is a full service livestock marketing company offering a Wednesday livestock collection site at Jim Lambert’s farm north of McBain, order buying and selling of livestock.
Starting with a Wednesday collection of livestock to be shipped to packers and other dealers, our facilities and services have grown. Our Wednesday cattle collection consists of livestock brought here either by farmers or picked up by one of our trucks. We offer on farm pick up of cattle at reasonable rates.
Slaughter cattle are sorted and shipped to the packing plant offering the highest bids. After these cattle are killed and graded, we are sent the results and issue a check to the farmer for his animals. Calves are graded and priced here by us according to this week’s prices. The calves are available for sale, most are shipped to Hudsonville, Michigan to a calf buyer. Feeder cattle are bought by us, with prices paid according to our orders. Dairy cattle are bought or sold by us on a private treaty basis.
With many orders for all classes of livestock, we offer on farm buying or selling. We are available to visit your farm and bid on your cattle, and can also assist you if you are interested in purchasing animals for your operation. With numerous contacts in the livestock business, we are confident of our abilities to serve you.
Jim Lambert Auctioneers is an experienced auction team available for on farm auctions of livestock and equipment. With portable facilities available for livestock sales at any location, we are able to conduct exciting, professional sales resulting in top prices for your inventory. We are always available to visit your farm and answer any questions regarding livestock marketing or auction sales.
Trucking of livestock is also available through Jim Lambert Auctioneers. We have 3 gooseneck livestock trailers, ranging from 20’ to 28’. We are available for on farm pick up of livestock to be delivered to our collection site, slaughter houses, or other sale facilities. We also offer trucking services for farm to farm movement of livestock, as well as statewide or out of state delivery of livestock. If your livestock trucking needs are greater than our trailer’s capacity, we are able to coordinate trucking with semi-trailers.
